Today was a fun day with Nyla. We read some books, she ate her lunch and then it took her all but 3 hours to fall asleep for her nap. Instead of falling asleep in her crib she decided to reach out for her block set that was set next to her crib. So she spent 3 hours bopping, pacing back and forth and playing with her blocks in her crib. I played her cd at another attempt to get her to fall asleep. After awhile she was out for the count.

While she took her nap I decided to do some karaoke. Bad idea cause 15 minutes into doing karaoke Nyla woke up and of course the first thing she did when I took her out the crib was run for the mic. So we did a few tunes and I decided to let her play on the keyboards to keep her a lil busy. Nyla was just as busy as she wanted to be. I had her tune to some notes then she attempted to do it on her own "so cute". After while she hit one of the beat keys and started jamming to it by bopping, singing and just doing her thing. I decided to record her so stay tuned for the video. Jason will put it up soon.

After playing with the keyboard, it was dinner time and nyla sat and watched dora and diego while she ate dinner. After dinner she played with Elmo for a bit til daddy put her to bed.

Nyla had a very nice day and is prepared for new adventures tomorrow.
