So today Nyla went to her first “Mother Goose Time” session at the Library. For those who may not know what that is, Mother goose time is a program they hold at the library in my area for ages 0 to 18 months old. They sing songs, rhymes, movement (finger play) and they also have reading time with picture books. Nyla was overwhelmed by the many children there so she decided she much rather try to play with them than involve herself in the activities. She did clap every time the instructor instructed the children to do so. Once she get used to being around more children I do believe she will be more focused. She enjoyed herself and that is the most important thing. They have sessions every Tuesday and Thursday so she will definitely get to go back.
Also, Nyla received her first pair of sandals today and she was pretty excited at the store. I tried them on her feet and she cried when I took them off. I bought them and put them back on her feet and she was happy.
Nyla also had her first taste of pizza today for lunch. Although I’m not a major fan of giving her junk food, pizza was a lil treat. After her lunch and picking up her sandals; we where off to the seaport! She walked around a little bit then we came home from yet another fun filled adventurous day. Till next time. Oh by the way for those who may be wondering why there is jibber jabber typing at the end of the page, since this is Nyla’s site I felt she should be involved in the typing process so there is a piece of her included in the diary of the site 🙂
Nyla’s note to everyone:

Peace and Blessing!
